Sims 3 game problems since the latest store and pets patch up to 1.29.

Game working okay with store & cc had some stretching with pets but thats about all everything else was okay.

I am still using TS3W exe from the desktop avoiding the launcher and the game is working great. No lagging etc but still stretched pets occasionally. Will look up the causes and possible fix for it.

Game version now 10.0.96.014001.

Well I've installed everything again except store stuff and cc and only patched from the EP and SP discs. I haven't patched using origin. My game version is now 10.0.013001. When I played via the launcher my game crashed as soon as I tried to go elsewhere in the neighbourhood. So as my crash dump file every single time my game has crashed pre patch, post patch, has mentioned TS3W exe base game, I tried avoiding the launcher made a short cut on my desktop with the TS3W base game exe and hey presto I've been able to play my pets game, no crashing, no freezing and no borked pets so far.

I've yet to test store and cc installed and I'm not in the mood at the minute to try with the 1.29 patch I'm just glad to be able to play my game again.

Well changing the shop mode to zero in the device configuration file hasn't worked. I'd just started a new game played for about half an hour then went into map view and the game crashed. I've checked the official site again and it seems it hasn't worked for other people either and a complete install without updating to the latest patches (store & pets) seems to be the only solution at the moment. I'm in no mood to do a clean install tonight so will probably try again tomorrow. Having to install all the EP's and SP's is really time consuming and I hope it works as I'm really on the verge of chucking it all in. I've spent alot of money on the sims games over the years and am really dissapointed.

Will let you know if I can get it to work.

I haven't been able to play my game for a while because of game crashes which turns out to be the cause of the latest patches. I will have quite a few new uploads once I have tested them out in a stable game. I'm building a ranch house, well this is about the third time I've tried, so far so good no crashes as yet.

So if anyones interested I'll upload some pictures.
